KAMTHIENG HOUSE MUSEUM

Bridging Time and Tradition in Bangkok

Nestled within the vibrant Sukhumvit District of Bangkok, the Kamthieng House Museum is a true gem under the royal patronage of the Siam Society. It stands as a testament to the art of preservation and cultural heritage.

Transporting you across space and time, this museum is home to a 174-year-old teakwood house hailing from the ancient city of Chiang Mai. Rescued from the passage of time, this architectural wonder found new life in Bangkok, thanks to King Bhumibol, who inaugurated it in 1966.
