Airport Tax

Airport tax is included in the airline ticket price of all passengers departing Chiang Mai on domestic and international flights.

Babysitting

When you wish some time for yourselves, our attentive and English-speaking babysitters available. Please contact your Butler or our Guest Service staff by dialing “0” to make these arrangements at least 24-hours in advance.

Boutique

We offer authentic Thai artifacts and artisan crafts as well as conveniences such as mosquito repellent and postcards in our small retail shop located in the main 137 Pillars House. Your butler can also assist you to purchase items from your guestroom including the bathrobe and bathing amenities.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and UnionPay.

Concierge

Our Concierge will happily accommodate every guest request and assist with tours, transfers and anything else that is of interest.

Currency Exchange

We offer Thai Baht exchange for most international currencies and can arrange for currency exchange of others for a nominal fee through an authorized center nearby. Please contact your Butler or our Guest Service staff at Reception.

Dining

Breakfast is served in The Dining Room, located directly behind the main 137 Pillars House. Breakfast is available from 6.30am to 10.30am. Palette is opened from 11.00am to 10.00pm. Meals and snacks are also available by the swimming pool. Room service operates from 6:30am to 10.00pm daily for your convenience.

Drinking Water

We advise our guests to drink the complimentary drinking water provided in the mini-bar. For your convenience, additional bottled water has been placed in your bathroom as well.

Fitness

You will find the latest weight training and cardio equipment in our Gymnasium located at the lower level of the main 137 Pillars House, open 24 hours daily. Should you wish to work out with a personal trainer or require a yoga instructor, your Butler will be happy to make those arrangements at your convenience.

Flashlight

In case of emergency, a fully charged flashlight has been placed inside the wardrobe.

Housekeeping

Your guestroom is cleaned and serviced by our housekeeping staff daily, including an evening turndown service.

Insect Prevention

We do share this extraordinary natural environment with mosquitoes and other insects. We undertake safe pest control procedures regularly, however for those who require additional protection, mosquito repellent is available in the boutique.

International Calling

There is a telephone available in your room from which you can make international calls directly. For further information please contact any of our Guest Service Agents by dialing “0”.

Internet

Complimentary LAN access is available in your room, while wireless internet access is available throughout 137 Pillars House.

Iron & Ironing Board

Pressing service is available however if you prefer, our butler will be pleased to deliver an iron and ironing board upon request. Please contact your Butler or our Guest Service staff by dialing “0”.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Our housekeeping staff adheres to 137 Pillars House’s environmental policy and we do not use any plastic or other non-biodegradable materials when returning your clean garments. Laundry lists and bags are located in your closet. Please place any laundry in the bag provided with the completed laundry list. If you prefer, your Butler will be happy to fill out the list on your behalf. Laundry sent before 10:00am will be returned the same day.

Limousines

We will be delighted to escort you to and from Chiang Mai International Airport, as well as show you around our city and into the countryside by chauffeur-driven limousines. Or may we suggest a new model van for family outings. Both are available by hourly and daily rates as well as for airport transfers. Your Butler or our Guest Service staffs will make these arrangements upon your request.

Lost & Found

Your Butler will be pleased to offer you an assistance in tracing your belongings.

Mail

If you wish to send mail or expect a delivery, please allow your Butler to assist. Stamps and postcards are available for purchase at reception.

Maintenance

Your guestroom is regularly maintained however should you encounter an unexpected problem, please contact your Butler or our Guest Service staff by dialing “0”. We will arrange for immediate attention.

Massage

Thai and Western massages are available at Nitra Spa. You will find the full menu on your desk. Please contact your Butler or our Guest Service staff by dialing “0” to make a booking.

Medical

Medical and dental care in Chiang Mai is of a high international standard. Should you require the services of a doctor or dentist, your Butler will assist you immediately. In the event of a medical emergency, dial “0”.

Pool

Soak up some rays or dive into our shimmering 25 × 5.5 metre pool. Enjoy cocktails, fresh juices, light refreshments and culinary delights from our menu, delivered by our attentive team while you unwind and relax.

Security

Chiang Mai is a very safe community however we have a private security company on site 24 hours a day to look after the personal safety and interests of our guests.

Smoking

Guestrooms are a non- smoking environment. Thank you for respecting this. We appreciate you smoking only outside on your private veranda.

Umbrellas

Two umbrellas have been placed in the umbrella stand in front of your entrance door for use during your stay with us.

Valuables

A personal safe with instructions is located in the closet for your convenience. Please note that the hotel is not liable for any loss of personal valuables placed in the safe. For the safe keeping of your most valuable items, your Butler will assist you to place these in the hotel’s safe deposit boxes in our management office.

Emergency

In the event of an emergency, please dial “0”. Indicate your exact location and the nature of the emergency. Immediate assistance will be provided.

Fire Alarm

For your safety, we conduct periodic fire drills. Should a fire drill be scheduled during the time of your stay, you will be informed at the time of check-in or by a letter to your guestroom. If you were not notified of a scheduled fire drill, please take the audible alarm as a sign of a real emergency.

First Aid

We have a first aid box for cuts and abrasions. Your Butler will deliver these in case of need.

In-Room Safe Box

A personal safe with instructions is located in the closet for your convenience. Please note that the hotel is not liable for any loss of personal valuables placed in the safe. For the safe keeping of your most valuable items, your Butler will assist you to place these in the hotel’s safe deposit boxes in our management office.

Fire Safety

If You Discover a Fire

Immediately After Check-in

• Study the emergency exit plans on the back of your door and note the meeting points
• Take note of your location

If The Fire Alarm is Raised.

• Follow the instructions
• If possible, leave your room via your door to the corridor, please close all doors and windows before you leave
• Go to the nearest emergency evacuation point
• If your exit is blocked, follow the directions to the alternative exit

If You Are Trapped in Your Suite or Residence

If You Are Unable To Leave Your Room

• Stay in your room and wait for instructions.
• Cover door cracks and vents with wet towels.
• Turn off the air conditioning.
• We will quickly check all rooms and arrange to help you exit your room.
