Enjoy a local lunch and explore art galleries, local shops, and cafés. This heritage community, dating back to the Ayutthaya period, is located along the Bang Luang Canal, also known as Bangkok Yai Canal. The community retains its traditional charm, with wooden row houses selling a variety of products to those who come to admire the serene waterfront atmosphere.
Khlong Sightseeing
Cruise along the Khlong (canal) on a private local boat and explore the vibrant riverside community. The highlight is the magnificent Big Buddha image at Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen, renowned for its large seated Buddha, the largest in Bangkok. Standing 69 meters tall and 40 meters wide at its lap, this awe-inspiring image, named Phra Buddha Dhammakaya Thepmongkhon, is made entirely of pure bronze — the only one of its kind in the world. The temple is also a centre of meditation and Buddhist education, making it a place of both spiritual and cultural significance.
