Comprising six authentic Thai-style teakwood houses, collected from various corners of the country, the Jim Thompson House is a living testament to Thompson's reverence for Thai craftsmanship.
Beyond its architectural marvel, the house boasts an impressive collection of treasures. Antique artifacts, sculptures, paintings, porcelain, and pottery offer a glimpse into Asia's artistic tapestry. These captivating pieces are divided into four categories: Sculptures, Paintings, Porcelain, and other collectible items.

Kamthieng House Museum
Nestled within the vibrant Sukhumvit District of Bangkok, the Kamthieng House Museum is a true gem under the royal patronage of the Siam Society. It stands as a testament to the art of preservation and cultural heritage.
Transporting you across space and time, this museum in Bangkok is home to a 174-year-old teakwood house hailing from the ancient city of Chiang Mai. Rescued from the passage of time, this architectural wonder found new life in Bangkok, thanks to King Bhumibol, who inaugurated it in 1966.

Jim Thompson Art Center
The spanking new building that houses Jim Thompson Art Center boasts an eye-catching façade of stylish orange bricks. As one of the hottest spots to be seen at, this Bangkok culture centre is a place for Bangkok’s local and international arts and cultural communities to come and mingle. Situated in the same compound with the Jim Thompson House Museum, the Center hosts activities such as parties, events, seminars, lectures, and workshops alongside its core exhibitions. As Jim Thompson is the name synonymous with silk, exhibitions featured relate to Southeast Asian textiles.
Another facility in this building is the William Warren Library. Named after the man who personally knew Jim Thompson and who also wrote the late entrepreneur’s biography, the library provides books, magazines and DVDs that are related to the life of Jim Thompson, this including his interests in architecture, arts, culture, design, travel, antiques, paintings, sculpture and textiles.

Queen Sirikit Silk Museum
Housed in the historic Ratsadakorn-bhibhathaha Building erected in 1870, this unique Bangkok Silk Museum was the master plan of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. Located on the grounds of the Grand Palace, this state-of-the -art museum is home to stunning textile galleries, a library, lecture hall and Thailand’s first dedicated textile conservation laboratory. A highlight of the museum is the showcase of dresses that Her Majesty Queen Sirikit wore over the decades as she fulfilled her duties in Thailand and abroad.

Museum of Contemporary Art
Dedicated to the honour of Professor Silpa Bhirasri, the “Father of Contemporary Art” in Thailand, this art museum in Bangkok contains an extensive collection of priceless and rare paintings and sculptures from the past six to eight decades. All of the art pieces were created by Thai artists. The emphasis of the museum is to communicate, promote and transfer the authentic Thai art and culture to the Thai people and people from all over the world.

Subhashok The Arts Centre
Founded by Subhashok Angsuvarnsiri, a collector of many decades and an avid supporter of Thai contemporary art, this ambitious Bangkok art centre space spans over a thousand square meters across four floors. With its striking architecture and outdoor sculptures and murals that will immediately catch your eye, SAC Gallery is a place that showcases modern Thai and Southeastern artists on an international level, through engaging in-person and digital programming. The staff here are already well trained and will be able to guide you through different showcases on each floor.

Dib Museum
A conceptual exhibition project that reimagines Bangkok’s cultural identity through contemporary storytelling, exploring the interplay between heritage and modern creativity.
