Benchasiri Park
A Tranquil Park Redefining City Life by Embracing Nature
Benjasiri Park, often known as “Queen’s Park,” is a compact yet vibrant green space in central Bangkok, created to mark Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 60th birthday in 1992.
Despite its urban setting next to the Emporium shopping centre, the park is rich in native flora — from tall tropical trees to flowering shrubs — creating a small but thriving habitat for local birds, butterflies, and other urban wildlife.
Early mornings and evenings see the park filled with locals practising Tai Chi, jogging, or simply enjoying the natural surroundings, offering visitors a true glimpse into daily Thai life.
Benjasiri Park may be small, but it plays a vital role as a community hub and natural sanctuary, blending culture, nature, and local spirit in the heart of Sukhumvit.
